You will be helping us deploy and monitor our products deployed on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Work with engineering team to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to ensure high uptime.
- Monitor system infrastructure to maintain at least 99.9% uptime, with a goal of 99.99%.
- Manage infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform and CloudFormation).
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
- Work to ensure security and compliance standards are met (SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.).
- Optimize cost and performance of cloud resources.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth application deployments.
Pay and Benefits
This is a fully remote, full-time (35 hours per week) position, and you can choose your own hours. We ask that you plan to overlap 4 hours per day with 9am-5pm EST.
The salary for this position is between $90,000 — $110,000 USD based on experience and talent.
The position includes 3 weeks (15 days) of paid time off, plus 10 additional days for local national holidays. You're also free to take additional time off here and there as needed for any reasonable reason. We prioritize making progress on what we're building together — over time spent working.
We are committed to working at a sustainable and healthy pace, and we believe 3.5 hours morning session, and a 3.5-hour after-lunch session is best for productivity.
This position includes a workspace budget, including a computer, external display, office chair, and more. This position also includes health insurance and a retirement plan.
